A model to support multi-passionates to manage their work flow. The philosophy is that we honour whatever is alive for us, trusting projects will ‘come back around the Carousel’ when the time is right.

SONGWRITING

I’ve written songs all my life, but started properly penning them when I was a teacher as a cathartic way of dealing with the stress. I now have over 50+ songs, including 3 viral hits. I wrote a song about every lockdown (see above link).

I write songs for special occasions – birthdays, weddings, leaving dos. A highlight was rewriting the opening of Hamilton for my sister’s civil partnership and performing it with my parents…

COMPOSING

I recently started working as a freelance composer.

In Summer 2021 I collaborated with lyricist Lois Zoppi to write original music for a new musical Bone Deep, performed at Camden Fringe. I’m taking on commissions for musical theatre (lyrics and melody).

SARAH NADE

I’ve been writing musical comedy and performing stand-up since 2014 as ‘Sarah Nade’. My repertoire of 50+ songs cover politics, dating, freelance life and lockdown. In 2018 my song about GDPR went viral. I was a semi-finalist for Funny Women Awards in 2015.

RYE LAUGHS

A monthly new material comedy night in Peckham Rye co-hosted with Rose Johnson from Birthday Girls. We’re known on the circuit as one of the friendliest nights to perform at and to attend. Past headliners include James Acaster, Tom Allen, Sara Pascoe, Mae Martin and Fern Brady.
